String Limitation - 65534 characters

Hi All,

I am using Crystal XI and had a question regarding string limitation of 65534 characters.

I have a string variable in my formula to which I am concatenating id's and passing them to subreport to display the data. When the report is run for a wider search I get the error "String can be at most 65534 characters".

How should I handle such situation?

Hi,
Is there a particular reason for concatenating the IDs instead of just linking the subreport on the ID field?

Perhaps an example of what you are trying to accomplish will help.
