String Length more than 255 characters

In crystal XI how can i display a field whose length is more than 255 characters


Please help me out!!

This shouldn't be an issue in XI, so please explain what kind of field you are using and what results you are getting.

There is a field called description in my table and it is a string field with more than 255 characters

And what happens when you place it in the detail section? You might need to format it to "can grow."

When i export the report the description field is taking two many rows where has the other fields are just a single word

is the large text field in the same details section as the other fields?
if so, what about inserting another details sections (Details B) and putting all the fields below the long text field in the new details section?
