Hi,
I have to create a formula which will convert this
05-123-00
50200500012300.
I can concatenate 50 with the exsisting string. I wrote a formula to convert 05 to 2005 or 96 to 1996. Is there a way I can count how many characters are there between two "-" and add zeros accordingly.

I think it would help if you showed some more sample data along with what the converted data should look like. It might also help to see the formula as you have it so far.
