string appearing that is not an option in my droplist

I have a droplist that offers choices of 'Active' 'Cancelled' 'Revoked' 'Suspended'. Well on different occasions the word 'Selectedtive' appears in my MySQL Database and on my information viewing page. I have searched my code for 'selectedtive' and can find it nowhere in any of my .cgi, .pl, .htm pages.

Any suggestions as to where this is coming from or has anyone heard of this happening before.

Any help would be appreciated, Thank You
