anyone know why my shockwave site works fine on pc, but when it comes to apple mac there is no streaming audio ?!

The first thing to check is Xtra - your Mac Shockwave Player may be missing some SWA related Xtras.

does this mean i should include the xtra when i build and publish the shockwave movie ?
Maybe its worth me mentioning that i work from PC and dont have a mac.
if that is what is required, is it possible to include an extra needed for a mac, from the pc platform ?

You don't include Xtras in your Shockwave movie but let the player to download them when needed. Please refer to the Macromedia Technote:
