Hey fellows,

Flash Help says streaming sound is best for long background clips, while event sound is best for short clips assigned to buttons, etc.

This is fair enough, but as a streaming sound file is only played back as long as there are frames in it's layer, won't the file just start playback from the beginning every time my movie jumps to a different scene...?

I want a continously playing music background; scene-independent. Can I do this?

Kind regards,

if you load it into a level using the loadmovie command..yes it is possible..no matter what "scene" the movie plays in it is always level 0..if you load sound into level 1 it will play throught out the transition through all the scenes..but yes once the frames for the trac have run out it will stat again..
