Streaming Radio through Real Player - Stutters / Does Not Work

Hi all,

I have a Dell Dimension 1100 PC running Vista Home Basic. I have installed Real Player Basic v11 (latest one from their site) and I use the BBC's iPlayer to listen to the radio online which plugs into Real Player.

My problem is that I can't get Real Player play the radio, it basically stutters and you hear a second or so and then you don't get anything.

I have updated my audio drivers and bios but still the same.

I know it is a Vista / Real problem because it all works fine in XP (dual boot machine).

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tested it from Safe Mode With Networking, or by making sure that firewall or other security programs are not interfering with your streaming?
