Streaming music slowing down main movie.. 1

Hi All. I have a main flash movie (40fps) and within it on level 1 another flash movie loads that plays a song (10fps)..which I used swiftmp3 for. When the music track is loaded and playing the main animations and page are Slooooow. any idea's all you genius's? thanx much!

If your sound.swf loaded on level 1 happens to be a "streaming" sound, it could be forcing the player to play at that 10fps framerate, thus slowing down your main movie.
