I have a secondary movie with a sound file (MP3 250kb mono stream)occupying about 425 frames. and that's all that's in that movie. My main movie has a "loadmovie" action in frame 1 to activate the sound of this sound movie.
.
When I test (main)Movie it works fine inside of Flash5 but in DW4 "preview in browser" the sound doesn't work. Both .swf files (main, sound) are in the same folder in DW.
.
Also the stream is set to loop but there is a pause between the loops although the MP3 file is flawlessly edited and smooth.
.
Questions:

1: Any ideas why the sound doesn't play in DW4 nor when the files are uploaded to a server?
2: Is 250 kb too long for a looping stream?
3: How do I get rid of the "gap" between loop end and restart?

Thanks, Izzo

1- Don't know anything about DW4.
2- No.
3- Whith are you streaming? As opposed to using an event sound that you can loop!

;-) "If nothing else, I can always serve as a bad example!”

All the tutorials and books say to use streaming to cut down on load times. I would like to use a bigger cut of the MP3, in fact I'd like to use the whole 5meg song..but....
