strangest issue

1608 phones

i have 2 phones that have no problem calling anyone except each other , i have watched it in SSA and it shows the call connected but there is no voice path. In process of running monitor trace but like i said the 2 phones have no problems calling anything internal or external except when they call each other there is no voice path.

any ideas?

Very basic iPo is giving dhcp using a cisco sf500 Poe switc

Like I said the phones are both 1608s, the strangest part is neither phone has any issue calling anyone except each other.

What ip address is each phone
What is the ip address of lan 1
what is the ip route gateway address for lan 1

really you have a routing issue.
have you setup a vlan in your poe switch? (I dont know if it can or cannot be done on this switch)

They are vlan capable but I haven't set it up, I don't think it's a routing issue because like I said same site all the same switch, they can both call any other phone and when they do call it shows the call connected in ssa but no voice path.

unchecking allow direct media path on both phones fixed it

Look the firewall Application layer gateway H323 or H323 transformation... need to be uncheck !
