STRANGE: When searching emails...

When searching my sent emails for words, I get a list of emails but when in the preview pane it says "This item cannot be displayed in the Reading Pane. Open the item to read its contents." When I try to open th message, I get a pop-up that says "Can't Open this item."

When I DON'T run a search and go through ALL of my sent emails to find the same messages that created the errors above, it previews and opens just fine. I really need to get this search portion working so I canfilter through emails efficiently. Anyone have any ideas?

What client and version are you using? I have basically given up with the search tool in Outlook (we use 2000). Do a search for Lookout Software. They have a great search tool for Outlook if that is what you are using. Supposedly, Microsoft has improved the functionality in Outlook 2007.
