We have a church web site. For some reason the computers in the church are cutting off part of the web page.

If I look at the site from anywhere else work, home other friends computers, it looks fine.

The site is hosted on a server in a completely different state. The church's computers are on a network.

Can any body give me anything to look for?

Hi

Overzealous anti-virus ? For example Norton things used to cut off part of the web pages. Other programs are doing similar cuts to "protect your privacy" by removing ads and pop-ups. Of course, the remaining HTML may or may not be rendered as it was designed...

Feherke.

I'm not exactly sure what is meant by cutting off.

Is it a vertical cutoff of the entire page? horizontal?

It could be as simple as a screen size problem where you disallow any scrollbars on overflow.

Could also be a different browser.

What versions of browser are being used in different locations?

Thanks for the replies.

The cutoff is vertical. I can see my footer which is an include but part of the bottom of the body is missing on all their computers.

is the website.

They are all using IE6. I have IE6 at home and work as well.

Thanks again.

The site just looks odd to me in IE7 and Firefox 2.0.0.5 as the image in the center of the screen is overlapping the footer and the text so you can read it. Is that what you mean?

I agree with Mark. The page renders incorrectly in modern browsers -- probably due to invalid code. If you fix it in modern browsers, you have more chance of making it work correctly (and uniformly) in IE6 as well.

Yes, that is exactly what they are seeing!

I am not a power html or css developer, mostly dot net which I do a lot of droping and dragging.

This is something I volunteered to help them with.

Any ideas on what I need to change. Thanks.
