A site I designed for a real estate agent is still under construction waiting on more content, but there is enough to produce results on a search. Google and Yahoo produce very different results.

The site is donnaomar.com (I did not make it a link because listing it here has made it pop up in Google before which, in my view, is a "false positive" since the search result would link through here)

When I do a search for her name without spaces between the first and last, her site pops up #1 on both Google and Yahoo.

When I do a search for her name putting a space between first and last, Yahoo comes up fine with her site at 1 and 2, but Google is nowhere to be found--even going several pages into it.

Is there something wrong with the site that is preventing it from showing up anywhere in Google unless you put in the domain name?

i would guess she just hasn't filtered to the top of a search like that yet. try using meta tags also...it'll eventually get to the top.

Meta tags are in there. Her name is listed all over the place--nothing pushy like I'm trying to say it as many times as possible either.

She's the only one with that name I've seen, and the site's been up on the web for a while, so how long does it take for Google to get with it?

whats "a while" google can take several months to index after a first time crawl.

The site has been available in its current form since mid-December.

currently any site in a competitive area (and they don't come much more competitive than real estate) is taking 9 months to a year to get rankings with Google.

Meta KW tags are simply not useful for SEO.

BTW as it's currently in the URL title state, the next phase will likely be a fully indexed home page for maybe 3 - 4 weeks then nothing at all for a month or two, maybe three.

Chris.
