Hello, I hope someone can help.

I have a solaris 7 firewall that is in a remote location from its management server. They are both on different subnets.

The problem I am seeing is during a traceroute back to the management server. Instead of going on its defined route it is heading out the default gateway, hme0.

The default gateway heads to an external router and then to the internet.

The way it should be travelling is to the internal router and then on to the management server.

Has anyone had experience with this? Is there a fix for it?

Thanks!
