Hi,

I am struggleing with a problem on a g3v8.04.0.046.5.
I am trying to delete some digits from ars so that I put the right country codes in on the route pattern. The trunk is a CAS link with wink start.
If i do a list trace on the TAC with no translations in the route pattern i can see all the digits come through and then sent to line. This works fine but cannot make a call because the number is prefixed with a 1. I thought i could take this 1 out by removing a single from the route pattern. In doing the same trace on the TAC it is now removing 8 digits from the dial string!! I have checked in the ars digit conversion and theres nothing there. Telling the route pattern no to drop any digits puts the trace back to normal

You could use Prefix Mark '0' to remove the 1. This is located in the route pattern. You can do this for individual trunk groups there.

This wouldnt work for me. The people dial 0(ars) 1(to select trunk - digit to be dropped from outgoing call) 0044(to call england) xxxxxxxxxxxx(Rest of number).

I need to translate this too 01144(American code to call england)
