I am running Quark Xpress 4.1 on Mac OS 9.1
When I add colour to text, it doesn't show up. The text remains black.
However, when I open the document on other computers, I can see the colour that I've just added. I can also add the same colour to picture boxes and see it on my computer - so I know it's not a monitor problem.
Finally, I can open my version of Quark from another computer and the problem does not occur.
I'd be grateful for any advice. Thanks.

No, it doesn't change with Zoom.
I don't see how it could be my monitor. I don't have problems with any other application, or seeing pictures or colour in image boxes. Just colour on text characters.

I had an odd error before with Quark4 on OS9, I would use say PMS375c, do up everything nice, save. Then the next day when I would load up the file all my PMS colour would display sold yellow?! would print that way too! Under my colours PMS375 would show as yellow.. was very odd. Have to remove the colour and then put it back in again. It wasnt with that specific colour, I just picked that off the top of my head. It would just happen randomly now and again with colours I used.

I figured when my computer was doing odd stuff like that it was a good time to rebuild it.
