I'm using Premiere 1.5 and mpg2 format for videos with MainConcept(!) for import and export!
I have one video where on one screen three layers of titles appear: one for the upper, one for middle and one for lower part of the screen. Since I want the 3 parts of titles to be displayed successivly (first the upper then the middle and finally the lower one) each of them fading in, I can't put all three lines in one title (using title manager), otherwise all three would appear at the same time, which I don't want!
Example:

A FILM BY HENRY LEE

It wouldn't be a problem if this had to appear at the same time. But I want first the first line to appear (fading in) then the second and finally the third (finally all three being displayed).
That's why I used 3 sheets of titles puting one above the other. The background is black, the letters are white.
Clinking PLAY and looking at this at Premier doesn't make any problem visible. BUT as soon the project is exported (via MainConcept), everytime the next line appears the line above becomes a little bit darker wich makes an effect of blinking and which is not good!!!
How can I avoid this negative effect???
I tried to change the order: The first line which appears I put in the uppermost video channel, each other one below hoping to get arid of this problem. It helped only a little bit, but it's still to be seen when exported!
Why? How should I solve the problem?

freeze each title into a slide; then introduce the effects that you want

Just like he said.. Create 3 titles..

First Title

Second Title

Third Title

Then drop them in the time line using 3 layers..
Have your first layer fade in..
Second layer fade in after that
Third layer fade in After That..
