Hello all,
I don't know if anybody is reading and/or willing/able to help.. anyway: I have a problem with RS 3.0 in an old application. The application builds some paradox tables which the rs report is built upon. After creating and filling these tables the app starts the rs engine.
The problem is that data in the header disappear after printing. In preview you see all data and it is all correct.
If you print on the paper there are missing data in the header section. I've noticed that the same effect could be achieved if you play, in the preview, with the "zoom" controls.
Any help will be *very* appreciated
Thanks bye
Nicola

Long ago and far far away. RS had a problem like this(ish) and it was the printer driver. FOR A TEST try printing to a different brand/style/whatever printer and see if it makes any difference.

I tried with a virtual pdf driver (pdf creator) and the problem remains. I see that it is sufficient to navigate pages in the preview to make the header page content disappear. The problem is only in the header, the body rows remain safe.
Empirically I've found that removing the header and then re-creating it *seems* to solve the problem .....
But what happened to rs now ? Is it still live ?
Is it still owned by Borland/Codegear/Embarcadero ?
Thanks for answering
Bye
Nicola

Borland sold ReportSmith to SRS-inc.com in 1995. ADP still uses ReportSmith but is trying to migrate to a different product.
