Strange Problem on 1 Phone

i have a 8 button phone that all of sudden has its first 2 buttons assigned to Line 294. The first 2 buttons on the phone should be Transfer & Park.

I can't even change the button programing for those two buttons. I have tried to copy the button programing from one phone to another and it works for about 5 secs and goes back to Line 294.

Anyone have any ideas.

Never Mind... I found the problem.

Line 294 was assigned to that phone and under Line Assignment - Line 294 was set to Appear & Ring. It should have set to Ring only.

Once it was changed to Ring Only Problem went away.

What model Number?

What system?

When you say first 2 buttons, do you mean button 1 & button 2

Are they set to ring & app or ring only?

I think if you do F*81 you are given an option to swap keys
select line key and move them back to where you want them.
