strange outbox

In some of my users mailboxes they have nothing under outbox, but when I open there mailbox the outbox for example on one of my users has 109 mails, anyone seen this before?

MCITP:EA/SA, MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA, MCTS, MCP+I, MCP
