Strange On Hold / Failed status

Backup Exec is acting very strange. The scheduled backup job will go to run, seems to run perfectly fine, then after the job is completed, instead of getting the completed status... the status is placed as On Hold / Failed
I'll take the hold off of the job and it restarts the backup job all over again. This is version 7.01 with a Sony Autoloader. Never had this problem (4-5 months) until now.

Hi,

Do you know if the auto loader is doing its job, Is it changing tapes correctly when the first one fills up? Is the job finishing ok, or has the first tape just filled up..

Have you checked in on the Devices tab, and is each of the slots on line??

Sorry to ask these silly questions, I am sure they have been checked already, but the number of times I have missed the obvious

Oh, I understand... TRUST me =P

Yeah, the autoloader is switching tapes properly. As far as I can tell, the backups are completing perfectly. I can select the date it SAID it failed and using the restore selections tab and everything appears to be there and backed up. I've checked the log and everything appears normal except at the very end of the log.

Job Completetion Status: Failed

And that's pretty much it
