I have used adobe image ready to create a table of images. The result is one large image. Everything looks fine when I preview it on my computer. I usually use Netscape when I browse, so this problem went unoticed for quite a while. But the other day I checked it with explorer 5.5 and there is some seperation between some of the images. When I resize the browser it goes away. Then when I refresh the page they reapear, although not all of them. I have scoured the code and I don't see anything that should cause this problem. Can anyone help? I am using windows 2000, but would be interested to know what it looks like with a mac also. The page in question is

I see what you're talking about--ie5.5 win2000. I've noticed the same thing on a lot of images on the web, I think it's just some kind of annoying glitch in IE5.5 or possibly in Win2k...

As far as I know there's not really anything you can do about, maybe someone else will have some ideas...

Hrm, I got it too on a win2k IE 5.5 machine. It's like a minute space btw the images, and it's only horizontal. Interesting. "It's easier to ask forgiveness than it is to get permission." - Rear Admiral Dr. Grace Hopper

Anyone else? Is this a microsoft glitch? That would be different wouldn't it? It is really irritating to me. Is it a known issue? It is eating away at me, and I won't be able to rest until it is fixed

Really it could be a lot of different things... I've noticed that it only seems to happen with jpegs though.

I can't see the problem in IE 5.5, but I looked at the source and may have a solution: try taking all the line breaks and indents out of your table cells and make them all look like <td><img...></td>. That may solve the problem. Some browsers have a problem with spacing/indents around image tags in table cells. Also make sure you include border=&quot;0&quot; on all the image tags. Tracy Dryden
