Strange issue with visual studio 2005 1

I've just installed visual studio 2005, Ive not used any since visual studio 6.

Anyway, I started it up, created a project, I want to add a new form so I am clicking project, add new item.

When I go to add UI -> windows from type in a name and press add, the screen flashes, no error message, but nothing

I can add other stuff, web pages etc, Ive monkeyed around with name to test out its not a wierd syntax thing, I can't see what i'm doing wrong.

any thoughts? I expect I'm being stupid
