I am reaching the tail end of a project to install broadband internet (cable/dsl/satellite) in 320 of our retail locations and installing a juniper netscreen 5GT vpn appliance (with a standard config at all locations (only the ip addresses are different)) - and along came this issue which has left me stumped.
At this particular location we are able to ping back to our corporate router, we can also ping/vnc/ftp to this retail location from our main office -- however --
1. From the retail location we cannot file browse (using unc) to any machine at the corporate hq
2. From the corporate office we can pull data back from the location but we cannot write files (using unc)
This particular location is set up on DSL and according to the DSL company, the only difference in this location is that it is PPoE - and they tell me that this is the lowest level of authentication....
Any ideas about why this is happening?
thanks in advance
