Last week I delegated 2 new domains and set up the DNS of both, however 1 works fine and the other defies any attempt to access it except by FTP.
The server is Apache 1.3.6 running on a PC under RedHat Linux 6
Because I can log onto the server with the sites IP# as an FTP client I know the DNS is working, I even swapped the virtual domain information to another domain that is working fine and got the other sites information, but when I put it back as it should be, the strange IP# refuses any kind of connection. All other domains are working fine (about 5 on this server).
I checked the DNS of both new domains using AUNIC's facility to do so, and both domains were visible on the Internet via their DNS, and delegated to our nameservers.
The only difference between the 2 domains is that 1 is a .com.au (Australian) domain and the other (non working) domain is a .net domain, delegated via the NetworkSolutions in the USA.

It's the first non Australian domain that I have setup but should that make a difference?
Also would the domain refuse to answer by just using the IP# and not the domain name? i.e. <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> (not a live IP#)
It won't even work on the LAN if I use Netscape on another machine to access it, yet the 1st domain (setup at the same time) handles like a dream.

Well I hope someone can give me a few clues cause I am fresh out of them, I have worked non stop on this problem all weekend?
If anyone can tell me what might be going on I would be very grateful

Thanks in advance
