We just cut over to our Merlin Messaging 1.1 system and mostly it is working ok, but occasionaly our "Call Answer Service Operator" picks up the phone and hears a busy signal.

Any one seen this?

Check to make sure reliable disconnect is set and the ports are set to rotary enable.

Reliable disconnect:

Menu - system - start - linesandtrunks - more - reldisconn - SET TO YES

Rotary enable -

Menu - system program - start - extensions - more - more - rotaryenable - enter the ports of the vm and set them to rotary enable.

I don't seem to have the reldisconn option at:

Menu - system - start - linesandtrunks - more - reldisconn

I believe Naperguy1 meant TT/LS Disc. then go to LS Disconnect and make sure it is set to Yes.

Ok, found the setting. I'll keep you posted as to whether it fixes the problem.

Thanks.
