I use T'Bird for my mail client. Have since it was mozilla. I have a multitude of email accounts, all IMAP. These have all worked exceptionally well for years.
All of a sudden the other day, on only ONE of my accounts, I receive the error "Mail server responded bad syntax" and it will be for UID FETCH or UID whatever... My ISP who handles my mail states that are NO errors showing in the logs for my account.
I can access other accounts on the same server from the same program without this problem. I can also access this same account with Evolution and no problems.
However, I am partial and used to Thunderbird. Has anyone experienced this error before and if so what was done to resolve it?
Any pointers greatly appreciated.
Bob
