I have a document that refuses to print (to pdf via distiller) a second eps image when there are two on a single page. The images display fine in Framemaker

Document was created in V7.0 on Windows 2003 server, but the document does the same on Win XP.

Am using Acrobat & Distiller V5.

If sunflower oil comes from sunflowers, and vegetable oil comes from vegetables, where does baby oil come from?

There are several flavors of the .eps file format. These vary depending upon the application the artwork was saved out of.

I suggest opening your original art files in your editing software, and comparing the "Save As" properties of the file that works in pdf file against the one that does not. Make sure the properties are the same in both. The last time I ran into this problem this corrected it.

Framemaker will generate its own preview image, and at times this creates a conflict with the preview image stored within certain types of .eps files. Once you find the "Save As" settings that work for you be sure to use those settings all the time.

Thanks. The problem was a Visio originated eps file. When run through Illustrator, all was fine.
