Hi All,

I have a problem with messages in my outgoing queue on IMS Exchange 5.5.

I am seeing several messages sitting in the queues that the sender is simply listed as <> ??? I am pretty inexperienced with this - can anyone give me an idea where to look to try and deteremine where the messages are being generated from?

I suspect that they are auto replies from somewhere - as I was seeing similar messages going to the same addresses from a particular user - he had out of office turned on and they were auto replies to SPAM!!..

I have scanned all my network for virus activity - all our syatems there are 100% upto date and I don't think I have issues there.

But the <> sender seems a bit concerning.... and advice would be appreciated.

This has been covered extensively in this forum. Search for <> and "reverse NDR" and read this FAQ faq10-5018.

Cheers.
