Strange Display Darkening, W/Time

Hi,

Having a little display problem...

My girlfriend was complaining her monitor was getting darker, especially at night, and wasn't sure if she was just going insane or not. Turns out it is...Now I have the brightness turned up to 100%, as well as the contrast, if you don't do that it's just completely dark.

I would assume the monitor is going bad but this is a 2 year old HP pavilion mx75, shouldn't really go bad already.

Shes running integrated graphics, which I would think isn't the problem...

Any ideas?? What could be going wrong here?

By at night I meant after it's been running all day...

Sounds like repair or replacement.

thats usually a sign the monitor is dying, it can be repaired but its costly, i believe. If its 15 inch then its not likely worth fixing.
