All, while I am in a module, if I set the cursor point at the beginning of a line and high-light a single word and move my mouse down (without clicking) it high-lights the lines below as if I am clicking and dragging?

Has anyone seen this before?
I am using windows 7 and Access 2007

I don't have the scroll lock on.
It is usually when I am trying to copy or delete what I selected.

randy700,

I am not sure if that is the case with you, but there is an old bug in Windows that causes the "selection flag" to be "locked on" when you start moving from application to application (or window to window inside the same application).

I was never able to identify what causes the initial lock (maybe leaving something selected in a window, then selecting something in another). Anyway, I am usually able to "unlock" that by hitting the ESC key a few times.

Any help is always apreciated!

Thx,
