MF Presentation Server 3.0
We have a farm with two servers. We recently made changes to a published application that is load balanced between the two servers. In order to preserve a working copy of the application as a fall back we broke the load balancing between the two servers and only published the application from one of the server at a time while the other was being upgraded. Once the upgrade where complete load balancing was turned back on.
Afterward I noticed client names in the CMC where showing up as strange strings of letters and numbers. Additionally the printer names for each client were adding the strange naming convention.
All clients connect to this published app through the Web Interface.
Example of strange client name: WI_SM776HuuT2rlP39R
The names used to show up as “Doman-UserID”.
Just to make it more confusing this is not happening to everyone. It seems to happen only to people that login from certain computers.
Thanks for any help you can give.
