I am linking Foxpro tables in Access 2000 by using Visual Foxpro ODBC Driver Version 6.1.
Some of the fields in the Foxpro tables contain strings with ASCII-codes > 128. For example ë (ALT-137) and é (ALT-130).
In my Access tables these characters appear as different characters. For example ë becomes o/oo (a promile sign)
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Check your language choice under Regional Options in the control panel. Also, make sure you're using the same font. You may try switching fonts to see if the problem remains.
