Problem decription:
-------------------
Open MIcrosoft Outlook. Click on the "favorites" menu. Select "Radio Station Guide". OUtlook now attemps to open the Microsoft Windows Media Radio Station Guide web page in the space previously containing the mail inbox and preview windows. The following error message is displayed:
! An error has occured in the script on this page.
Line: 4
Char: 2
Error: Unspecified Error.
Code: 0
URL: Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? Yes/no.
If I select No, the error message repeats with different Line and Char numbers, 3 to 5 times. After that, if I move the mouse over any text on the now displayed page, the error message repeats with Line 77, Char 3.
If I open this same URL directly from within Internet Explorer, it opens without any error messages.
If I enable "script debugging" in the Internet Explorer settings, then try to open the same URL from within Outlook, the following message is displayed:
A Runtime Error has occured.
Do you wish to Debug?
Line: 3
Error: Unspecified error.
Yes/no.
Followed by a second message specifying Line 4.
If I select "Yes" to the first message, nothing happens. If I select "Yes" to both messages, a window pops up titled "Microsoft Developement Environment" with the contents "An exception of type 'Unspecified Error' was not handled." with an "ok" button.
If I clcik "OK", the "Microsoft Developement Environment" opens, and the following line is highlighted:
if(window.external.appColorLight){window.external.OnColorChange = colorChange;}}
** This is just one specific result of a deeper problem which is affecting the ability to access various corporate private websites (and other websites) from this computer (but not from other computers). These other website access problems are not related to Outlook, as it is not open when the other, similar, access errors occur.
Does anyone have any idea what is causing this problem, and what I can do to fix it (remotely via pcAnywhere)?
