Strange behaviour 1

I am having the same problem with IE5 and 6. On sites that use javascript I keep getting errors, also images are not always being displayed, and I get the following "A Runtime error has occurred do you wish to debug? Error: Expected '}'

What could be causing this as it's really annoying.

On all sites or just some sites? The message you displayed in your post is just bad javascript code by the author of the web page. Someone forgot to close one of the statements and that is why the browser is returning the javascript error about "Expecting '}'"

In Javascript where there is a '{' opening statement there has to be a '}' closing statement.
