When I try to forward an email and try to edit the text which is present in the initial forward I get this problem. This behaviour doesnt happen in a new email.

For example if I want to enter the letter 'p' between 2 o's in the word booking I will be greeted like this.

Bo p oking

Then i go and delete the character..which is an extra work.
I have tried all settings and nothing seems to work.
Any ideas..

If you switch to Plain text, you will not have that problem.
It comes up with HTML or RTF formatted messages.

Thanks for the answer. Yes...If I format to plain text the behaviour goes away..Is there any way to resolve this but still keep the HTML formatting..

Nope, that is part of the formatted behaviour, sorry.
