Strange 7965G behavior

Anyone heard of a phone popping up the "help screen" while connected to a call? Not even near the phone to press anything and the help screen will appear and i have to press close to get rid of it, but then it comes back after a little time.

Never heard of it. I'd try forcing it to perform a full reload, i.e., unplug the ethernet cable then plug it back in while holding down the # key on the keypad. As soon as the line buttons begin to sequence then press (1 at a time) 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-*-0-#). This will take 5 minutes or possibly longer.

If the problem continues after a complete reload then I'd suspect a defective 7965. Hopefully it's in warranty or you have it on Smartnet.
