STP Topology Changes

Hi there,

does anybody know how to find the reason of "Topology Changes" within a 3COM switched network?

With STP enabled on every switch, I saw "topology changes" every 60-300 seconds.

I swithed off STP on every switch without redundancies.

What type of switches are they? I have seen this on 3Com networks but only on FDDI backbone connected switches.

Our switches are 3Com 3300 and 4007. With and without GB.

Saw the same recently with 4924 switches....

Any advice....???

We eventually gave up with STP and turned it off with no apparent effect, but I would have liked to have found a solution....
