Storing E-mail from Outlook Exchange Server to local harddrive

Hello,

Our Outlook exchange server is hosted offsite. We have a 200MB mailbox size and anything stored on the exchange server beyond that is charged per MB.

We presently require close to 1500MB of storage.

Is there a way to save the emails locally but still have access to them in Outlook?

You could host your own exchange server.

you can store this data in a .pst file located on your desktop, off of the server.

Just remember that unless your system backs up your desktops and servers, you will not get the .pst file backed up....
