Can anyone please tell me the equivalent of an Acces OLE data type in SQL Server so that I can attach documets to records?

Thanks

I haven't failed, I have just found 10,000 ways that it won't work!

The data types text and varbinary will hold 2x31-1 characters. You should be able to go with the text data type. ntext is the equivalent for unicode characters.

Thank you
