Storing an Image

I have a table in which I want to store tif images to be pulled into a Crystal Report as an OLE object with other corresponding data. I have been browsing and browsing through the OnLine books, but can not find out to insert the file or even a link to the file. All I can find is inserting text or ntext. How do I insert and image into an image datatype field??
