hi there! i would like to ask on how to use an SQL statement stored in access 97 which accepts 2 params. i am still using crystal reports 4.5 on vb6. i have difficulty in the LogOnServer method, should i use this? please give some code samples.
also, are there other means of generating reports using parameter passing on sql using vb6?
thanks!Ü

You don't need to use .LogonServer for Access. Just open the report in VB.

Also, if I remember correctly, when you are designing the report, you must choose ODBC as your data source. You cannot choose Data File / then your .MDB database. It will not see a parameterized query as a data source.

i already used odbc connection, but i still get the error message "Runtime error 20527: SQL server error" when the Action property of crystal reports gets executed. i have 2 parameters (of date type) in the stored sql procedure in access dbase.
what whould be the possible solution/s here?
thanks.
