StorEDGEA1000 Help!!!

Hi folks,

After performing touch /reconfigure on my production Solaris 8 E250 server, I lost access to my StorEDGEA1000 disk array. The StorEDGEA1000 show's up in /var/adm/messages after reboot however, I am unable to mount any of the file systems from the array. The array doesn’t even show up during the format command, symlinks are not being created in /dev/dsk.

Do any of you smart Administrators have any idea's as to what has gone wrong here.

Any help is appreciated as the disk array is housing our Oracle binaries and database!!!

did you already try devfsadm ?

Thank you for the hit Carlos Alemida!! I used the following command and it worked fine without any problems.

devfsadm -c disk -i sd -v
