stored procedures

Hi,

I am pretty new to sql server.

is there some advise i can get on the daily checks i should be doing on my servers and on how best to use stored procedures?

Those are pretty big questions!

I would suggest getting the book 'Inside SQL Server 2000' written by Kalen Delaney. It is an excellent reference & I regularly refer to it.
