Stored Procedure Data Source Error

I am using Crystal XI and trying to use a stored procedure from MS SQL 2000 as the datasource.
As I try to drag the SP from the left side of the database expert over to the right I keep getting the error:

Database Connector Error: 'Cannot obtain error message from server'

It is a simple SP with no parameters so I'm not sure where I'm going wrong.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you able to base other reports on other sp's?
