Hi,

Is there a way to return the @@ERROR messages in (SQL Server 2000) stored procedures to the ASP page?

Essentially, I have a function that allows the user to import data into the SQL Server using BULK INSERT in an ASP Page. Should anything be amiss, (record exists etc.) I'd like to be able to return the error message from the DBMS to the user.

Thanks.

You can catch the @@error in a SP and return this value, then call this SP from the ASP.
