Stored Proc

Hey Guys,

Crystal Rep XI
Oracle 9i

My question is, what is the best way to use Store Proc. My experience is. If I include the procedure inside and the Package along with the definition of REF CUR, i can't see the stored prod in the list of procesdures that i can use as datasource in Crystal Rep. Yet if i create the procedure as a stand alone proc (meaning not inside a package) I can see/reference that proc in the list of procedures Crystal Rep. WHy is that?

Any opinion?
