Hi all,

My user is running CR 5.0 against a SQL Server 6.5 database
using ODBC. Her report calls a stored proc in the database
that expects one input parameter (a date value in char format). She supplies the date and receives output; however, when she performs any activity on the report
(e.g., scrolling to the next page), she is reprompted for
the date parameter again. What can be done to prevent
this from happening? Thanks in advance....Karen [sig][/sig]

Karen,

That one is odd. Maybe someone else has seen this and has an answer, but I have some longshots.

There isn't a subreport in the report, is there?

Also, look under the database menu, and see if there is a check mark next to "Verify on every print".

Is she running it from the designer, or from a short cut, or from an application?

If you create a new simple report using this same stored procedure, does it have the same behavior?

Thank you, Ken! The user needed to unmark the "Verify on every print" option. [sig][/sig]
