Hi All,

I would like to know whether I could store special character (symbol) such as copyright (C), Registrated (R) & etc to the table. As some information require those symbols, please advise any solution in solving the problem.

Thanks in advance.

In addition to what Geoff said, you would probably need to use the CHR() function to actually store the character in the table.

For example the (C) symbol is ascii number 169, so you would store CHR(169).

Hope that helps,

Stewart

You can even enter that: hold down the [ALT] key and then enter 0169 in the Numpad (on the right side) of your keyboard. Then release [ALT] and (C) will show: ©.
Make sure the Numpad is active.

You'll find many special characters and their numeric code in ASCII tables everywhere on the internet. Simply google for it...

Bye, Olaf.
