We're trying something new at our business and I am wondering if it will work. Can we have IIS running on 1 machine, setup a new website but point the Home Directory to a NAS?
We tried this once and I get a HTTP 500 error. But once I point the home directory to a local drive, all works well. The web server is a Dell 2950 and the NAS is a Dell 1450 and there is a 1g switch between the 2, nothing else.
Any ideas?
